First trailer for Texas Chainsaw 3D: watch now Sep 14th 2012, 06:43 The first trailer has arrived for Texas Chainsaw 3D, and it seems that several decades o f skulking around in his old family basement has done little to improve Leatherface’s mood. The new film is set many years after the events of the original, with the Sawyer family pile having long been destroyed by angry locals. When a young woman named Heather discovers she has inherited the land in question from a previously unheard-of relative, she heads down there with some friends to check it out. A new house has now been built on the property, and it seems that not every member of the Sawyer clan has left the vicinity. No, one of them is still hanging around, trusty chainsaw in hand... Check out the new trailer, below... Our money is on that girl who bares her bra getting offed within the first few minutes of arriving... just a hunch. It seems as though Leatherface is more of a straightforward slasher this time around, although the sound of that roaring chainsaw still gives us the creeps. Directed by John Luessenhop and starring Alexandra Daddario and Scott Eastwood, Texas Chainsaw 3D opens in the UK on 4 January 2013.
