New teaser featurette for This Is 40: watch now Dec 4th 2012, 10:30 This Is 40 has released a new teaser, focusing on reminding audiences of Paul Rudd’s character from Knocked Up, Pete. And specifically, his bizarre behaviour in hotel rooms. After recalling the magic-mushroom-fuelled monologue concerning chairs from the original movie, the new footage shows Pete up to his old tricks in a different hotel, having scoffed a marijuana cookie. It’s only a brief snippet of new footage, but it includes another chance to see that great little sight gag involving his partner in crime, Leslie Mann. Take a look, below: It makes sense that the studio would play up the Knocked Up connection in the promo material, since the title This Is 40 might not set any bells ringing in the mind of the average moviegoer. And the Vegas trip was a particular highlight of that movie in any case. Directed by Judd Apatow and co-starring Jason Segel, Albert Brooks and John Lithgow, This Is 40 opens in the UK on 14 February 2013.
