First image from Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2 Jan 24th 2013, 07:43 The first image has arrived online from Cloudy 2: Revenge Of The Leftovers, with Sony’s colourful animated caper looking every bit as vibrant as its predecessor. The new film picks up where the first one left off with inventor Flint Lockwood joining his idol Chester V at the Live Corp Company for the world’s brightest scientific minds. All is going smoothly until Flint discovers that his most famous invention, the machine that converts water into food, has been modified to create food-animal hybrids known as foodimals. Humanity is now under threat from a race of shrimpanzees, tacodiles and, er, double bacon cheespiders. Which sounds horrible, obviously. Produced by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, directed by Kris Pearn and Cody Cameron and starring the vocal talents of Bill Hader, Anna Faris and James Caan, Cloudy 2: Revenge Of The Leftovers will open in the UK on 25 October 2013.
