New red-band trailer for Spring Breakers: watch now Feb 22nd 2013, 09:05 Spring Breakers has released a new red-band trailer online, and it's not much of an exaggeration to say it's completely batshit crazy. Soundtracked by thumping beats and James Franco's drawling voiceover, the new trailer is an assault on the senses, all strobe lighting, blazing gun-muzzles and gratuitous bikini shots. It's as if all those flesh-filled promo posters had been a little tame, and the marketing team have been urged to crank things up a gear. Unsurprisingly, it's rather a lot of fun. Take a look, below: The film follows a quartet of co-eds on Spring Break, who find themselves involved in more than the usual combo of heavy drinking and carefree sex when they get themselves entangled with Franco's unhinged drug-dealer. Directed by Harmony Korine and co-starring Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson, Spring Breakers opens in the UK on 5 April 2013.
