Exclusive Maniac images featuring Elijah Wood Feb 5th 2013, 15:59 [Click on the images to see them in hi-res] Maniac, the Elijah Wood-starring remake of the gruesome 1980 serial killer feature, has revealed a brace of new images. Wood plays Frank, a deranged loner with mummy issues and an unhealthy penchant for mannequins. Our exclusive images see Frank shrouded in blind-striped shadow, and working in his dust-clouded workshop. There's also a shot of artist Anna (Nora Arnezeder, Safe House), the closest person he's ever had to a friend. But, as you can see below, she's as weirded out by the dummies as we are. The BBFC recently passed Maniac uncut, certifying it with an 18 rating. Check out the rest of the new images below: Maniac opens in the UK on 15 March 2013.
