His latest directorial venture titled Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola is a rustic comedy starring Pankaj Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Imran Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Arya Babbar. Imran Khan grew a beard and gained weight for his role while Anushka Sharma also sports a wholesome apperance in it. Shabana Azmi and Pankaj Kapur play Imran Khan's parents and Anushka Sharma plays his wife. Shot in Rajasthan, the movie will release on January 11, 2013. Check out the happening new trailer here.
