Meet the trolls in a new TV spot for The Hobbit: watch now Oct 29th 2012, 08:23 The Hobbit has released a new TV spot online, featuring a first glimpse of Bilbo’s encounter with the trolls around the camp fire. The new spot contains more of the sweeping landscapes and dwarf-based rabble-rousing that we’ve become accustomed to, as well as throwing in a few new tidbits, such as the aforementioned troll-fest. “Can we cook him?” inquires one of the brutes, greedily. “I really wouldn’t risk it,” splutters our diminutive hero… Check it out, below… The meeting the trolls has long been one of the moments we’ve most been looking forward to (the statue tease on the Fellowship DVD sets things up nicely), so it’s a treat to finally see them in action. Now what about Smaug, eh? Directed by Peter Jackson and co-starring Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opens in the UK on 14 December 2012.
