First poster for The Lone Ranger Oct 3rd 2012, 13:44 The Lone Ranger has debuted a first official poster online, teasing the respective costumes worn by co-stars Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer. The new poster shows a pair of eyes staring out from a daub of a black crow, cleverly combining the Ranger’s eye-mask with Tonto’s famous bird motif. “Never take off the mask,” booms the tagline, although given his disguise only obscures the region around his eyes, we’d suggest that the Ranger could probably get away with it. Directed by Gore Verbinski and co-starring William Fichtner, Helena Bonham Carter, Ruth Wilson and Tom Wilkinson, The Lone Ranger opens in the UK on 9 August 2013.
