Michael Shannon and Ray Liotta star in new trailer for The Iceman: watch now Jan 16th 2013, 10:43 True crime thriller The Iceman has released a new trailer starring Michael Shannon as titular hitman, Richard Kuklinski. Kuklinski was a family man who kept his work a secret from his loved ones, but was famed for a unique calling card: freezing his victims’ bodies in order to disguise their time of death. As the trailer gleefully announces, Kuklinski was responsible for over 100 murders between 1964 and 1986, so there should be plenty for the film to get its teeth into. Take a look, below: Shannon looks suitably intense in the title role, but he’s ably backed up by a dream lineup of a supporting cast, including Ray Liotta, Chris Evans and Winona Ryder. Directed by Ariel Vromen and also starring James Franco and Stephen Dorff, The Iceman will open in the UK on 7 June 2013.
