New trailer for Dwayne Johnson's Snitch: watch now Jan 28th 2013, 08:40 The new trailer has arrived online for action thriller Snitch, in which Dwayne Johnson’s average Joe is forced to endear himself to a group of drug dealers in order to spare his son prison. With his son staring at a ten-year prison stretch for a crime he didn’t commit, the only way of wiping his sentence is to bring the real culprits to justice. So good old Dwayne decides to do just that. However, it won’t be as simple as he’s expecting, as the drug deal he ends up assisting the gang with inevitably begins to go sour… Take a look below… While we love Johnson as a brash, balls-out action hero, its nice to see him mixing it up a little here, playing a character who seems a lot more vulnerable than his usual brand of indestructible badasses. Directed by Ric Roman Waugh and co-starring Susan Sarandon, Barry Pepper and Michael K. Williams, Snitch will open in the UK on 5 April 2013.
